ENGRAVING ON GLASS
WHAT IS IT WORTH PAYING ATTENTION TO?
Engraving on glass is very popular (especially when looking for a unique gift), and quality work will last a long time.
During engraving, the structural properties of the surface of the material are affected by laser beams, and with the help of modern technologies, the image becomes so clear during the process that even a very small picture and text can be accurately engraved.
Glass is not very durable, so it is important to note that it is better not to choose thin glass products for engraving. Perhaps it is obvious, but the quality and result of the engraving depends greatly on the quality of the glass.
The engraved inscription or picture on the glass becomes matte, so it is better not to choose glass that is already matte for engraving, unless such glass is colored. In any case, before preparing to engrave a piece of glass, make sure that it is suitable for this process. Otherwise, you may not be happy with the result, but disappointed with a damaged product.
Glass engraving also allows you to get a three-dimensional (3D) image, but how deep the engraved symbol or inscription will be depends on the chosen product and the material from which it is made.
